About
EndFattyLiver.com

A consumer education resource built on peer-reviewed science, clinical honesty, and the belief that informed patients get better outcomes.

Why This Site Exists

Everybody's talking about cardiometabolic health.
Nobody's talking about the liver.

Fatty liver disease affects one in three American adults. It is strongly associated with heart disease, cancer, and early death. And in the vast majority of cases, it is caught too late — or not at all — because the standard tools used to screen for it were never designed to find it early.

EndFattyLiver.com exists to close that information gap. Not by selling anything, not by frightening people, and not by replacing clinical care — but by giving patients the knowledge they need to ask better questions, seek more thorough evaluations, and act within the window where action matters most.

The research is unambiguous. A 2025 nationwide Swedish study found that people with a formal diagnosis of fatty liver have 85% higher all-cause mortality than the general population — the majority dying from cardiovascular disease and cancer, not from liver failure. A 2026 meta-analysis of 52 studies found that fatty liver is associated with approximately twice the cardiovascular event risk of the general population. These are not obscure findings. They are published in major peer-reviewed journals. They deserve to be part of the public conversation.

The good news — the part that most public discourse misses entirely — is that fatty liver is one of the most reversible metabolic conditions in medicine when identified early and addressed comprehensively. The reversal window is real. The evidence for it is robust. And the practitioners trained to work within it exist.

That is what this site is about.

Everybody's talking about cardiometabolic health.
Nobody's talking about the liver.

How We Work

Our editorial
principles

Every piece of content on this site is written against the following standards. If we ever fall short, we want to hear about it.

🔬

Evidence-based, always

Every clinical claim on this site is traceable to peer-reviewed literature. Where we cite statistics, we cite the study. Where we describe risk, we describe what the research actually shows — not what sounds most alarming or most reassuring.

⚖️

Honest about limitations

We are a consumer education resource, not a clinical service. Nothing on this site constitutes medical advice, replaces a qualified clinician, or diagnoses any condition. We are honest about what we are and what we are not.

🤝

Additive, not adversarial

We believe in the value of comprehensive clinical care. When we describe the limitations of standard screening tools, we are describing the tools — not criticizing the clinicians who use them appropriately. Our goal is to help patients ask better questions, not to undermine existing care relationships.

🔍

Transparent about relationships

The practitioner directory on this site features clinicians who have completed CMiQCertified training, administered by CMiQHealth. We are transparent about this relationship and include a disclaimer on every directory page. The educational content on this site is written to be accurate and useful regardless of whether you ever engage with a listed practitioner.

🛡️

Private by design

No personal health information is collected or stored anywhere on this site. The risk quiz scores a pattern of responses — it does not collect, store, or transmit any health data. Email capture is voluntary and used only for guide delivery and directory waitlist notification.
