For Clinicians

Your patients have
fatty liver.
Most don't know it.

Standard enzyme panels miss up to 40% of confirmed cases. Elastography finds late-stage disease. And the patients who most need early intervention are the ones most likely to leave your office with a normal result and no further guidance. There is a better approach — and a growing patient population actively looking for practitioners trained in it.

The Clinical Opportunity

A massive underserved patient population — and a framework to serve it

One in three adults has fatty liver disease. The vast majority are undiagnosed, underserved, and actively searching for answers. The 2025 Issa et al. nationwide Swedish study confirmed what functional medicine clinicians have long suspected: fatty liver is not just a liver problem. It is a cardiometabolic systems failure — with 85% higher all-cause mortality, driven primarily by cardiovascular disease and cancer. These are your patients. The framework to find them, assess them comprehensively, and manage their reversal now exists.

🔬

A validated assessment framework

CMiQCertified training gives you the clinical architecture to evaluate cardiometabolic risk comprehensively — including the Fatty Liver Index, insulin resistance indices, atherogenic lipid pattern, and inflammatory markers — as an integrated system, not a list of isolated values.

🩺

Patients who arrive ready

Every patient who reaches the directory through EndFattyLiver.com has already completed a risk quiz, read the educational content, and taken a Next Steps page that explains exactly what a CMiQCertified practitioner does differently. They arrive educated, motivated, and pre-converted.

📍

Geographic exclusivity

Directory listings are limited to a maximum of three practitioners per metro area. Once your market is filled, it is closed to new entrants. This creates a meaningful first-mover advantage for clinicians who complete training early in a given market.

📈

A differentiated practice position

Cardiometabolic disease is the defining health challenge of the next decade. Practitioners who can credibly claim comprehensive, evidence-based assessment of fatty liver and metabolic risk stand apart from the crowded field of general wellness and functional medicine providers.

🔄

Measurable patient outcomes

The same multi-domain assessment framework that identifies risk tracks its resolution. You and your patients can see the intervention working in the data — which drives retention, referrals, and the kind of clinical satisfaction that comes from knowing your approach is producing measurable change.

🎓

Stackable certifications

The CMiQCertified program offers three levels — Core Liver-Metabolic, Thyroid-Metabolic, and Perimenopausal-Thyroid-Metabolic — each expanding your clinical scope and the patient populations you are equipped to serve. Each additional certification adds a badge to your directory listing.

Is This for You?

The practitioners who get
the most from this

CMiQCertified training is designed for licensed clinicians who already work with metabolic patients and want a more rigorous, evidence-based framework for assessment and management. It is not a foundational training. It is a clinical intelligence layer built on top of existing practice.

The clinicians who find the most value are those who have seen enough "normal" labs in sick patients to know that standard reference ranges are not telling the whole story — and who want a structured, defensible way to do something about it.

Functional medicine practitioners already working with metabolic patients who want a validated assessment protocol and a patient pipeline to match.
Integrative medicine physicians and NDs who want to differentiate their practice around cardiometabolic disease with an evidence-based clinical framework.
Chiropractors with functional medicine training who serve a metabolically complex patient population and want a structured approach to comprehensive risk assessment.
Telehealth practitioners for whom dry blood spot panel collection removes the geographic constraint entirely — allowing comprehensive metabolic assessment without requiring in-office phlebotomy.
Any licensed clinician who has told a patient their labs are "normal" while knowing the full picture was more complicated than that — and who wants a better answer next time.

How to get
listed in the directory

1

Express interest below

Leave your name, email, credential, and location. We will be in touch with information about training availability and directory openings in your metro area.

2

Complete CMiQCertified training

Training is completed through CMiQHealth, the cardiometabolic clinical intelligence platform that developed the assessment framework. Core Liver-Metabolic Certified is the entry-level requirement for all directory listings.

3

Be selected for your metro

Directory listings are geographically exclusive — maximum three per metro area. Selection is based on completed certifications, practice type, and metro availability. Telehealth practitioners expand their effective geographic reach significantly.

4

Receive warm, educated patient leads

Patients who reach your listing through EndFattyLiver.com have completed the risk quiz, read the educational content, and been through the Your Next Steps page. They arrive understanding what a comprehensive assessment looks like and why it matters. The education happens before the first contact.

About the Training Program

CMiQCertified training is administered by CMiQHealth, a cardiometabolic clinical intelligence platform. CMiQHealth developed the assessment framework, clinical protocols, and interpretive tools that underpin the certification program.
